Our Leadership Stage Executive Solutions Client is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of fmcg food beverages products.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS 

The Group President, reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer of our leadership stage executive solutions client company. 

The position has a General Manager for each of the above referenced business units and the group staff, consisting of a Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources Director, Innovations Director, Operations & Engineering Director, IT Director, Regulatory Director, Marketing Director and Purchasing Director. 




SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Group President - Food FMCG Beverages Brand will provide leadership and have full P&L responsibility for an organization. He/she will be accountable for the organization’s overall growth, competitive advantage and long-term position as a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of food fmcg beverages brands. 


Additional responsibilities of the Group President will also include the following: 


  • Provide leadership for all commercial activity and operations for the Food Fmcg Beverages business unit.
  • Manage the Group’s P&L to ensure realization of profit and expense targets.
  • Develop and execute the unit’s overall growth strategy in alignment with that of the Our leadership stage executive solutions client organization as a whole.
  • Manage, direct and monitor the daily operating activities of the company with a view to maximizing the value and profitability of the organization; delve deeply into operational issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Drive and continually enhance the organization’s overall strategy for differentiation through quality and service while closely managing costs.
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and establishes the key performance indicators and financial metrics that will be used to manage the business.
  • Increase market share.
  • Drive down costs.
  • Limit organization’s exposure to food safety issues.
  • Build, lead and inspire a world-class organization.
  • Establish, maintain, and promote an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
  • Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and mentor a strong team.
  • Set performance standards and goals for each member of the team, fostering an atmosphere of personal excellence. Clearly define expectations and hold the team accountable for results.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

In addition to a well-rounded background in operations, technology and financial acumen, the ideal candidate will possess the following: 


  • Minimum of 15+ years of business experience in P&L leadership positions of increasing levels of responsibility within a high value add, non-commodity manufacturing organization.
  • Track record of success working closely with senior management at major accounts and formulating agreements that ensure a fair return to the company while satisfying customer needs.
  • Proven ability to both retain and grow a company’s position within the market place.
  • Demonstrated success meeting financial objectives, increasing profitability, and directing and motivating teams.
  • Strong track record of profit center management.
  • Proven managerial leadership ability and keen business judgment gained in a demanding, competitive environment.
  • Deep understanding of their products and technology.
  • Expertise in differentiating offerings through quality and service.
  • Experience leading an organization that is global in scope.
  • Track record of developing relationships with third party organizations/licensing firms with respect to technology.
  • Track record of success in product innovation and strategy whereby his/her strength in products have helped changed the face of an organization.
  • A seasoned, savvy senior executive with exceptional leadership skills and an established record of success in increasingly responsible positions as a strategic leader and market builder.
